Just my attempt at making a Jaffa sprite

from Stargate

Working on making more sprites from Stargate

and improving this one

All the components have different shadong, so none of it 'blends'. The suit is the mot major example of this. The pure black ues doesn't fit well, and although it's textured nicely, it lacks shading.

I really quite like it. Especially the back of the suit. Some more, I bet, would really be appreciated.

 

[Berserker]

Dont use straight black. BIG mistake.
Use a dark purple, but not black.

You shading, it looks really flat without it.
Soften them outlines too.

Good line-work though, just need to fix those simple things and you'll on your way.
