Square's New Lineup

I was just perusing the Japanese Square-Enix site and noticed a few games that might interest a few of you.  Granted I can't read Japanese, so these may not be what they appear, but not Only is Square working on Blood of Bahamut, there is a FFIV sequel, a Dragon Quest II arcade machine, Dragon Quest IX, a new Valkyrie Profile game, and new FF Crystal Chronicles and FF Fables games for the DS.

Except that is already out in Japan, and it wasn't in the lineup on the first page.  I actualy went there hoping for some new info on FFXIII, but no dice.

Im pretty sure most everyone knows this? This really isnt any thing big, with the exception of FFIV-2, I had no idea.

I mean they'll never stop making DQ's so it's a given that it's in production but still :D
I dont pay attention to squeenix normally (I pay more attention to EA, Valve, BioWare) so thx for the update

Final Fantasy IV sequel, very cool. I had to play 6 like 8 times over 2 years before I was convinced that it was better than 4.

What? I said it was old news too. She and asdren are right. If you would bother to pick up a magazine then you'd realize this shit is old news. Im not even active in the video game scene and I already knew about all this. Doesn't mean she imports games.

Not to mention there are threads for half the games you posted so if some better discussion doesnt come from this im locking it.

What about Last Remnants? I have no real idea whats it about, but I did see a commercial, and even though it looked like standard JRPG Square stuff...who knows!

A friend of mine own TLR... he said that it's a very fun game and battles are somewhat turn based... you give commands to your units... its strategy mixed with turn based.

Also, about the lineup, new Crystal Chronicles looks hawt.

none of us are japanese, though, and no one seems really keen on importing games. given that (and even without it,) I'd say the only thing coming from Square that isn't another lame rpg or that one game about Snoopy is worth a mention at the least.

and yes, hasn't most of this already been covered in other threads?
