Yea, I was testing out a new way of shading, and some new clothing techniques. He came out quite nice now that I think about it. His right arm resembles Sephiroth's (How it is frozen, couldn't do the dots, to hard for now)

From what I can see, I don't think you should try shading like this again. It's just not a good look on sprites. No offense.

Looks like a bunch of photoshop filters combined. It looks hideous, I can barely tell what it is. PLEASE look at lessons at the pixel academy.

No, it's more of a frankenstein. I meant what do you like/dislike about each part of the body. None of it coincides except the shoulders.

Pencil, not paintbrush.  D: Also, his two sides don't really match. And his head is kinda lopsided.

You REALLY need to define what you've drawn. I'm probably not the best person to say this, as I am not too good at spriting. But you seriously need to define those edges. I can see the general shape of the hair, but apart from that, it's REALLY blurry.

It looks like a poor sprite + a 2xKreed filter + 50% resize to me...

I can't quite tell what half of the stuff on this sprite is supposed to be. People could probably give better criticism, if we could get a better look at it.

I'd say stick with scripting, but I don't wanna be mean.  :P
