Sprite Backgrounds?

So how do I make them disappear? I've concentrated them into one color.

For example, I've created my sprite, but he's walking around with a big white box surrounding him.

In the game? When uploading choose the transparecy color to be the same as the sprite backround. Just make sure there are no colors within the sprite that are the same or they will be transparent to.

Select Tools > Material Base.  On the left hand column highlight "Graphics: Characters", and then select the Import button.  Find the files you wish to import, and highlight them, select okay.

You will be presented with a screen of your resource, you will have two boxes below it to show you your  transparent color and Semi-Transparent color.  Left click on background color, to set it.  This color will now be transparent.  Right clicking on a color will set it to a semi-transparent, which is mostly used for shadows and the like.  If your graphic is poorly done, or has antialiasing, you will have to clean it up using an art program so these two sections (background, or anything semi-transparent), are a unified color.

Sorry lordnick

edit: damn regi, posted before i could.

when you put your character into the program via the resource manager, the character set will pop up, it will give you the option to right and left click on colors that you want to be transparent or semi-transparent (shadows.) right and left click the apropriate colors. as devon said, make it a color that is NOT in your sprite, like a super saturated green or blue. black and white are often in many sprites, its not a good idea to use them.

or you could juSt open it in PS or gimp and make them transparent.
