This is my Spartan Battler from '300' so far. I am using Tana's gRTP battler template. Please C&C on this. The helmet might not be done, I am working on it next.

Well I feel that that for it to be spartan battler you are going to have to seriously bulk up those muscles. And also make him shorter. I see that you are having some issues with the cape, well the part that drapes over the arm, its too straight capes don't lay like that. You've also got some pillow shading going on there. Your going to have to work on the shading.

it looks alright, not the right pose though for a spartan as he looks really wimpy there, looks like he's quivering in fear, i think youre gonna need to change the battlers stance to give it fury, plus i think adding pants would definetely help. Otherwise it's good, the colouring is nice and simple, it's a good job

@madmax_vii- What are you talking about the coloring is done poorly. Don't tell him that he has done a good job when he has so much he needs to improve on. You shouldn't give people false praise and what not.

And, as for critique, I do believe you should try shading the cape again. It is awfully pillow shaded and very unappealing to the eyes. You should try look at the RTP or even take a glance at what Tana is doing in the Pixel Academy to get an idea of how to shade a cape better.
And, yes, if he is a Spartan battler, he needs more muscles.
