glad u guys like it, yea i kno ':| i was finished with the body and just started drawing the sword when i finally realized i ran out of space on the paper!! lol oh well..

I love the character design. Why? The mullet and mustache! Anyways, It looks alright, but I think you should change the porportions of the sword and make it more like the character's holding it, instead of the character was drawn, and someone else added the sword. But other then that, it's pretty good! Keep at it.

Nice colours, the character isn't much to my liking though. I think you need a bit more of antonomy in it. And watch how the sleeves has folds where the lower clothing barely has any.

As for the boots, well, most important being drawing a naked body before drawing the clothing. And of course you aren't really interested in drawing an old guy's naked body, but you don't have to put in the detaills.

The pose is static, very static. Some shapes could curve a bit more, look at the earring for an easy example. Anime-styled hair also usually is much more shiny, as you shaded everything very similiar. It may be a good idea to think of the fact they're made out of different materials.

Hoped that helped

thanks alot for the critique, yea those are definetely good points, i'm in the process of trying to find some anime drawing and shading tutorials right now (especially for clothing and hair) but again thanks i'll see what i can do

Hey everyone I got a new sketch uploaded, just another battler in my game, i'm in the process of coloring it right now so i should have it up tomorrow!

Kayla is a good character... she gives off a very feminine appeal except for her shoulders... they are very... uh... broad... but i like how you're style is turning out, personally... you should work on the shoulders IMO... a little anatomy will help... don't get a Anime Tutorial... look up a tutorial on anatomy, and you'll get better...

-Added the colored version of Tyrell

While the lower area boasts good proportions, you lose it at the shoulders and hands. The shoulders are too wide and buff while the hands are too small and meek.

yea I've always had trouble with hands!! they're always the most difficult for me, thanks for bringing that up by the way cause i've been meaning to look up some tutorials for that.
