Soul Calibur 4 to star...

I think it really r*pes soul calibur to put in yoda and darth vader. I mean those dudes are from the future it really makes the game stupid. That the gamecube had link was understandable but spawn for the xbox and hiachi for the ps2? I could imagine those but comeone darthvader and yoda did they timetravel or what? But the wii version of Soul Calibur 4 has lioyd from Tales of Symphonia, which is an rpg i can understand they put him in the game. But darth vader and yoda...really scr*ws it up!

of course it makes total sense that they put in someone from a fantasy JRPG (AWESOME) but when they put in some characters who are pretty much ICONS OF FICTION it's a horrible thing

Darth Vader and Yoda are indeed in Soul Calibur 4. Kinda surprising, but considering SC2 had Link, Spawn, and Heihachi, anything could happen!

Yep, and a little known fact but Dante of DMC was originally supposed to be in Soul Caliber 3 as well, but they ran out of time.

I have screen shots from the game and they are great, the best since Assassin's Creed

I was really hoping for Dante or someone who fit a little better in the setting. Don't get me wrong. I love Star Wars. But it just doesn't match the time period. It's going to be totally weird no matter how they try to pull it off.

Anyway, wouldn't a lightsaber just burn right through metal swords? And armor/skin for that matter?

Then when is Star wars set, which time period? And a character from a rpg has a better reason to be here then yoda an darthie, cuz they (at least in this rpg) DON"T use futeristic weapons + a friggin lightsaber can cut trough iro, steel or any other thing a sword is made of!
