Sonya Blaze - Stylish Cyborg

Here's a pic of one of my characters on the MMORPG, City of Heroes, Sonya Blaze. She's a cyborg with the ability to control fire.

Yes, I know her proportions look weird. It's because of her artifical body, which she tries to cover up with clothes that don't show any skin (And she still looks stylish! ^^).

BTW, The japanese text should read "Sonya Bureizu", which is the japanese pronunciation of her name. If someone who knows how to write Japanese notices there's an error, please tell me!

Drawn entirely in pencil, lines darkened in photoshop.

Comments Please!

(BTW If you want to see a few more pics of her and a bio, Check out her page on VirtueVerse.com!^^))

Is her lower torso seriously that thin? That and the wide hips it looks really weird, and even if you were going for a skinny, cartoony design that still just looks wrong.

Other than that, it definitely isn't too bad of a start, but the hip thing is just killing it right now.

Camel toe! Er, I agree with Ratty on the issue of the hips/torso. There's thin torso/wide hips, and then there's... nyah. I'm sorry, but it does come off as a bit creepy.

Also, hello random Japanese characters for no apparent reason. How are you today?(and yes, I do realize that they aren't actually random)

Normally, I don't think squiggles would work out well as hair, but here, it seems to looks good. I have no idea why. :\

Oh, and nice job on the coat!  :thumb:

It's a nice design, and you definetely know how to handle your lines, but like mentioned, even for a stylized look (unless this was the extreme you were going for) baby got to much side. Also take the time to look at other artists who have a similar style to this, specifically for the hair, there are more effective way's to create curls that could stay consistent with your style. A good point to your image however is that you have managed to get the perspective fairly right. Keep at it!
