Before you read my post, make sure you understand that this is a game to test one of my scripts.

Introduction[/FONT]

Everyone know that super speedy hedgehog, the sega mascot as been my favourite game since I was 4 years old, and when I started making games in RMXP, I always wanted to do a platformer but there weren't any scripts that could let me do a "Good" platformer game, so I decided to create one of my own, and I am making this game just to see how it handles is job.

First of all I still don't have Story, but this is will be done soon.Anyway this game will focus mainly in game play, since Sonic and the other playable characters will have lots of tricks and abilitys to use during the game.

Features[/FONT]
-Custom battle system (Platform)
-Platformer style game
-Music from the original sega games, it gives that nostalgic feeling...
-Graphics from the original sega games, and some edits and original ones.
-About 10 playable Characters, Shadow, Sonic, Tails, Omega, Rouge , Knucles, Metal Sonic(not decided), Espio, Cream , BIG , etc..
-Player has an arsenal of abilitys to use
-Two player game(I don't know If I will Add this feature)
-Super forms
-The Chaos Emeralds
-The game will use the basics of the genesis game, but will also have A new system that is like the Character Energy, you energy to do some moves or to power them up, the energy refills along time. See Character Enrgy for further reference lol.=> this feature maybe will be not implemented yet.

Character Energy[/FONT]

This is a new feature that I will implement in my game, this wil be use to perform some cool actions, like sonic, will be able to run hiper fast so that he can run up straight walls, and do some other crazy moves. If you are playing with shadow he can use chaos control, and jump in top another dimension teleporting to the place in front/before of him.Of course that there are other moves but I wont state them all here.

Hmmm...well it's not the fact that your screenshots are so empty rather than the size of them. Possibly take actual size screenshots so people wouldn't have to squint to see details? :)

Looks good, but 10 playable characters? Don't you think that's a bit much? I think just Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles would be enough.
 
No guns and no vehicles for sure, lol
But the characters The story for them probably will be the same, so the only think that changes is their abilitys.
 
Sonic's been one of my favorite games since the olden days too... good luck with your project. If your gonna' have tons of characters, it's my advice that you make a deep storyline to incorporate em' all..
 
Is it even possible to do a Sonic game...Just thinking about doing all of bouncing, spin balling, and coin catching seems like a fucking head ache to overcome.
 
It's pretty much possibly, the coin catching can be done very simply by events, the spin is easy to o just need to do Input commands, now the colision detector is what is going to be hard... I need to find/do a pixelmovement scripts so that it works well.. Right now it looks the sonic Master system games :( lol
