Songloop

Hey guys, I need some help to get songs loop better in RMVX. At the moment, when a song is at the end, it takes 1-2 seconds and then it loops again.

What I need is that song to loop IMMEDIATLY. No pause. Any help is appreciated!!

You can't make that with a script, unless you use a custom Audio module. So I'll move that to RM General Support.

You need to open your audio file with an audio editing tool and modify it's loop tags to fit your needs. I don't really know how to do that with midi files, it has something to do with control change value 111 but I don't know how to do that.
You can also do that with OGGs. Yeyinde made a tutorial on how to loop OGG files a few months ago.

Ah thanks, I didnt know its impossible with scripts.

Right now I have MP3s, but I bet I can save em as OGGs with Audacity. Ill look for the tutorial. props

MP3s? Virtually all MP3s I know of have a delay at the end which prevents them from, looping immediately. The only exceptions I've seen are Bomberman Hero songs from Galbadia Hotel.

Once I saw someone post saying to use Audacity, trim off the blank part, and convert to .OGG because of replay/loop business--OGG has no delay while MP3 does. There's my two cents.

Oh, yeah, I don't know how to work Audacity. But it's a free download, I know.
