Song: Patchwork Soul

I've been doing some composing lately, and I recently finished revising and rerecording this track: Patchwork Soul
I'm pretty proud of it as of now, but I'd like a few more critiques. I am aware that the strings have a rather awkward cutoff at around 3:50, and I'll fix that whenever I get the time to do it. Anyway, tell me what you think.

Hmmm, it's either I'm not used to that type of music or I had my speakers up way too loud. I'm sorry to say but I cringed at the first thirty seconds of the song before closing my browser. :(

Umm...it just seems like the guitar isn't really on the same page as the percussion, and I'm hearing a lot of off notes. But hey, I'm a pianist, so I really don't know much about producing. It just sounds way too garage (if you get what I mean).

To tell you the truth, I don't get what you mean at all. I think I've read over your post at least 5 or 6 times, and "garage" really doesn't mean anything to me other thasn sounding like it was made by a garage band, and at least by the way my ears hear it, it sounds very little like it was made that way. And in terms of the first 30 seconds, I don't hear any off notes. I did make a few mistakes later when the diminished part on the strings comes in, but from what it sounds like, you didn't listen that far.

Anyway, could you elaborate a little on what you mean, or which specific parts you found bad? Because so far, I really don't have much of an idea what you're talking about.
