Something's going wrong with RPG MAKER!! D:

Hey, I've just opened up my RMXP and when I start a game to test or in the RGSS player, the up key doesn't work, and the player automatically moves.

People have asked me if it's my keyboard and I know full well for a fact that it is NOT my keyboard.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, reset keyboard bindings, the likes... still, nada...

If anyone has had this problem and fixed it, or know how to help I'd appreciate it!

Like, do I just restart the computer in general, or restart after or while I'm using it?

Are you sure there isnt a paralell process or an autorun event on one ov those can make you walk non stop

Also, once in a while, your computer may think that you have some sort of controller plugged in when you don't.

... or, once in a while, you could forget that you have a controller plugged in, and it's fallen over in a way that the control stick is pushed in one direction continually.

Does it happen with other programs or games as well?

Have had my computer thinking I'm holding down a button when I don't before. Holding down the button it thinks I'm pressing and moving it as much as I can usualy fix it for me.

Just restart your computer. Trust me.

1 buy a new key board
2 run your project in other's computer
3 kill verus
4 run a default project in your computer, and then run in other's computer
5 restart your computer
6 reinstall your rmaker
7 reinstall your OS
If all of them can't work .makesure you are not in a bad dream- -

This has happened to me with my "X" key, just restart your computer, it'll fix-ina-jiffy

Just MAKE SURE you don't restart with your RPG Maker XP project open. Doing this has been known to permanently corrupt game files beyond repair.
