On your characterset, your white is too light. First, use some blues and an almost white blue or grey to make it less flat, and darken up the outline and some of the shading. You can make the appearance of white without it actually being almost entirely white.

Aw, man... you beat me to it... :/

I'm not sure how it looks in game, but it seems to me that the window border for the windowskins are heavily pixelated. It could be my eyes playing tricks on me; if so, never mind.

The multicolored pots look especially useful (Sure they're simple edits, but I'd use 'em if I actually had more time to devote to another project)
