Some Isometric Work

Hey i was inspired after seeing this picture and decided to have a go at iso myself, this is my first attempt so there may be faults. Also you may notice the style is a little different, this is because i decided to go for an easier style of iso. Well let me here your thoughts:

Sasuke, it is viewed from afar. If it was detailed more, uuhhh... NVM.

Great job St.!

it can be more detailed even from afar.... THe Trees (If they are trees) look like simple batches of green.... Get rid of some of the black more too...

You are off to a good start but at this distance you might find it hard to get satisfactory results- it is pretty hard to capture detail in a drawing this small, and if pixeltown is your inspiration I assume detail is something you want to go for. I would at least double it to start.

Also, remember to keep your styles consistent. If you are going to use outlines, try to use them in most or all places. Also, the trees - if that is what they are - are pretty tiny next to the buildings.

Off to a great start though.

Thanks erk, not sure if you have seen the update where there is no longer any outlines, i will work on the trees and continue it to the area i have laid out so far. Then i would like to hear you thoughts again, thanks.

- and sasuke your very wrong.

Yeah whatever... As you should know the first sprite isn't his at all.... The Ones he made can be improved... more.... I'm not saying that's it's not good... I'm saying it's not the best it could be...

Yes sasuke i know the first one is excellent and obviously hours of worked have been put into this by a very "SKILLED" isometric artist, however this is my "FIRST" ever attempt and i wouldnt expect my work to be any where near a class like that.

Anyway moving on thanks for the compliment trinity. Also with some hints and tips from some pro's on "pixeljoint", i have edited my work quite a bit and its much better in my opinion now. Their main concern was things like the beach and trees were blurred and not isometric at all, now they are. I have edited the large factory building, the mansion house, every tree, the beach and the barn. Let me here your thoughts not please
