Some Help with...

Ok I need some help or tuts on the following if some one can help:

How to use scripts and where to put them.
How to make the battle system from the final fantasy type to zelda style battling.

And how to use more complex events.

Most scripts from the "Submitted RGSS Scripts" subsection of this forum explain how to use the scripts. You usually place them above main, unless otherwise stated not to.

The Zelda-like script you want is known as an ABS (Action Battle Systems). Click here for a list of Battle Scripts. I recommend Mr. Mo's ABSs.

edit- there is a Zelda ABS already made, though it has alot of complex events. If you would like to see it PM and I can send you the link. You can learn alot by reading thru what Mastermind and AceofSpades did in the Zelda ABS engine.
