Just because they're [adjective]furry[/adjective] doesn't make them [noun]furry[/noun].

People from all over have to defend themselves from everything if they are ever called that one little f-word huh? The sad part is, the furry fandom really deserves it, considering there are indeed those bad areas of the fandom, and even more seasoned netters out there agree that 95% it is made of X rated stuff.

Which makes it harder for us 05%, whom have fur-anthro characters simply because we were raised on Cartoons made of nothing but Funny/Talking Animals, and it's just a part of who we are.

I can't remember anything I watched before 10 years old that didn't have the talking animal in it.

Lots of Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry... Hell, even live-action shows like Sesame Street wasn't exempt.

If it is such a rooted part of our lives, we have to suffer because some percentage of the net has this one fetish.

Call them anthros maybe if the race origin is influenced by human genes... but I just hate it when people use the term furry when something could be more than that. :<

About your work though... the first one - the Aluxes haired one, the hair could be darkened a bit to match the artwork more.
Nice job on them... (I'm assuming you didn't draw the battlers?)

These character sets are pretty well done, though you'll probably wanna work with the faces to make them more animal-esque.


Also, in some of the frames (especially the walking ones), the tail seems to move very roughly. You might wanna make it seem a bit smoother when animated.

Hm, never heard of that name before. But you can trust me when I say that calling them furries is just giving them a name, notinhg more ^^;
