Sure, go for it. Let me know how it turns out. Just watch for the teeth. And the fact that arachnids eat their mates.

Actual player-type Battlers, this time. Still working on the rest--I probably shouldn't be posting these, seeing as how they're like, the main cast of my project, but I so sincerely do not care right now. Feel llike sharing, anyhow.

They're actually based on designs by Naramura, redrawn to fit in with the rest of my current game. If I ever get the others done, I'll most likely put them up here, I think.

You've definitely gotten a lot better since your first post, but my only concern is that some of these might be a bit on the small side and may not resize well. Your shading on some of these is a little smudgy as well--the toad warrior vs. the frog warrior is a good example of what i'm talking about.

I really like when you use sharp edges in your colouring. Like this one:

I think you should stick to this technique and avoid gradients.

Well so far I haven't had any trouble with the size, although it is something I'm a bit concerned about. It's mostly trial and error to get the size right, since really, there's no template for battler sprites like this. Still, I find that as long as it's generally no wider then 165 pixels it works fine.

Yeah, I like the more angular shading too, but I find it so damnedably time-consuming, and I am just not a patient man :P.

A whole heck of a lot of new stuff. The clearly newer new ones look better then the others, I guess because I've gotten better with practice or something.

And the funny thing is, the Photoshop I use doesn't even have an airbrush tool. It's dodge and burn for me; I know I should probably use the paint tool, but...well, I don't use the usual palettes, and it's not always possible for me to find the next darker colour to use.
