Some Artworks...

Hello, I know I haven't post too much and all ':|

Just scanned my new artworks :D This is my current art form today so be critical, kill me, flame me, insult me so I can get better :argh:

Please comment on my DA if you can :D

Also please be critical, and sorry about the scanning quality, I can't open it on my iBuddie that I can't edit it :(

Wow it?s wonderful Raey, specially the second. It?s well detailed, and i like what you did for her hair ^^ But the first's hair is a bit confusing...

BTW are you using nankin pens to outline your drawings? And have you just outlined, or did you draw them just in pens?

@Linkin I used Calligraphy pen c-01 I think.
The first one was outlined by a mechanical pencil while the second one was straight penned. :)

I love the amount of detail you've forced, yes forced, into the two images, especially the second one. It's a very old school style, more so when done with calligraphy / black-ink pens. The main issue really is god, uhm, if you plan on ever converting these to 'CG Digital Art', don't try implementing shading techniques into any portion of the image. It just makes it difficult for you when lineart'n it.

Hmm i thought so... ^^

A big lawl at that, because i like the "old school style" of outlining a drawing with nankin pens xD

Amazing. I'm a big fan of pixel art, so your newest one is awesome.
Hell, all of your work is amazing. Any chance you could tutor me or something? xD

Wonderful work on the last one ^^ I can?t do half you did in MS Paint (or i don?t have patience, Paint is not the best program to draw imo...)

I'm no expert at anatomy by any means, it's one of my struggling points, but I think she looks great. I only have a question(And I'm probably wrong) Is her right ear is a little low?

'm not too picky about perfect anatomy/detail, though her hand seems a bit too big, other than that she's gorgeous.
I'm an artist too (hence my displaypic) though I doubt I could pull off a pose like that

I don't mind those errors at all, they?re not so serious...Drawing in Paint is a pain. ^^

But i really loved the female Monk you did, she?s cute and has some cool shining effects on her clothes. I specially like the kind of proportion you maintain for your characters... It?s not so small to not be considered chibi yet big enough to maintain some kind of recall to chibi drawing.

Sorry if i couldn't explain myself better, i'm really terrible at english :D

Sugoi!

The design is lovely, the same way as the character. The only thing i see a bit strange on this drawing is the mid-tone you used for the skin shading, it doesn?t combine much with the base and shadow colors. But other than that, good work raey-chan lol ^^

I really wish i could do those amazing drawings in Paint xD
BTW, i guess you use a tablet, right?
