[solved]Warping in.

So, I have this character in my game who does magic and warps in and out of places (like some of the characters in the various Fire Emblem games and such), and I got him to do it once, but I can't figure out how to do it again. I didn't do anything special. I've put a link to a video I put on YouTube for a friend that has him successfully warping in. This sequence starts at 8:13 in the video. I've also put two links to screenshots here, showing the commands in the event that triggers the warping and the event that is the character himself.

So, he warps in and does his thing and the story continues, but every time I've tried to do it after, the character picture shows up before I want him to come in, and if I set it to "autorun", he does the warp animation (while he's all ready standing there) and then does his thing, even when the player is not in the right spot, which messes up movement paths and such. If anyone could give me a hand, that would be great. ^_^

This is simple enough.

Here's what you want to do.

Make sure that the person you want to warp in is set to 0 opacity until you want him. Then when it comes to the point you want him, set him to the space you want him on (if he isn't there already), show the animation you want (it will likely be "Cast Magic") and set his opacity back to full.

When you want him to warp out, just show the animation and set opacity back to 0, or set event location to a direct space if he's just warping someplace else on the map.

Hope that helps.

Oh, sorry, that's my bad, I should've explained that better.

It's in the "Set Move Route" setting. It'll be in the right-most column. I'd look it up for you, but I don't have RMXP on this computer, which is why I didn't give you a screenshot in the previous post.
