[SOLVED]Creating custom RMXP charsets

Yeah I kinda have a big problem. See, when making charsets for Rm2k3, you always have a set size for the charsets and using a template makes it easy, but it's different for RMXP. When I put my graphics in a charset I can't determine how RMXP handles them, and thus often some of the frames will have the graphics squashed together in one frame. I hope you understand what I'm saying. Is there some sort of trick or a template that makes it easier to create RMXP charsets of small, middle, and big sizes?

The way that RMXP handles charsets is that each frame is 1/4 of the width and 1/4 of the height of the file. It doesn't matter how big the file is, just as long as you each frame taking up 1/4 the width and 1/4 the hieght.

Could that give any problems? I'm not using really huge charsets, but I guess I should be careful.

Oh, while I'm at it, I have another question. Is there a limit to tileset size in RMXP? I have a tileset with height 1088 pixels now, and it doesn't show the lowest row of tiles. I thought tileset size was limitless in RMXP, but maybe I was wrong?

Only 1088 in height? Because some of the RTP ones that come with the maker are around that and they display perfectly.
Besides, it is unlimited, its just that it begins to lag as the tile set gets bigger. You probably didn't scroll down all the way or something.
