SO my laptop just died on me and I am currently on my mom's pc. Since my time on this computer is limited. (my mom must play Zuma -.-) I have got to say goodbye for some time probably 3-4 days. But so long farewell.
This is true. If you're gone for a week, most people will assume you've hit a momentary snag anyway, so it's not like we'd think you were dead for a three or four day absence.
Sorry to hear about your laptop, though. What happened that could be fixed in four days? I cracked my screen and it took two or three weeks to get it back! Then again, that laptop had a weird resolution.
Gee, I forgot to say I came back. I guess I won't do this again. But my laptop suddenly crashed on me. Then once I turned it on it restarted again and again. I got everything fixed but lost all data. I recovered most of it easly. Somethings I lost forever (My rmxp project.)
Ah, that sucks. I think everyone has that happen to them at least once. That's why backups are lifesavers. (strangely, I've never had my computer crash on me since I've started using backups.)
