I'm a lazy oaf when it comes to these things, no need to tell me. Anyway, I'm not entirely sure how to describe this. In a few recent XP games, the text boxes are smaller and hang above the speaking charaset. I've looked around in the script listing, but there doesn't seem to be any there. There was one or so I thought, but the demo download was down.

ccoa's UMS has the function you want. Try a google search (it was unfortunately removed from the forums). There may be other scripts with that function out there, but that's the one I know of.
