Skygear-01 Destroyer (Speed Ship Shooter :P)

@BlueScope, that time I hadn't updated. but right now I upload the it, and it was very good, here are the updates that I made:

1 - now you can shoot the two shots at the same time.
2 - improvements in the ship sprites.
3 - Icon and sound alert when the ships are coming behind you.
4 - fixed the bug that sometimes while creating some immortal enemies.
5 - adjusted the volume of the sounds of explosion and impact.
6 - I changed the button "Play again?" to just one phrase "Play Again?"

phew, that's all :D
 
Awesome game, and excellent addition of @Bluescope's idea...I really think that added a lot. Sorry to break everyone's high score, though!

@Ugotsta: You young whippersnappers, playing the game with enemy warning indicators... everyone can win that way, and because I'm the only one who submitted a score without those, my score is immortal! :rock:

At around 3.5K so many enemies flood my screen that there's nowhere to run to. The lag at that point doesn't help much either. But yeah, thatwasfun.png.

Well this looks really nice, and runs smooth with no lag. I must say I really like the enemy homing missiles. When I first started the game with Chrome, there was no music, but when I clicked try again the music started.
If you are interested I have some suggestions:
There were those colored collectable vitamin things that wen't all grazy if I didn't collect them :smile: Maybe you could add fade effect for those and set it to destroy in the end. I recommend including also sounds and music in AAC-file format for people who use browsers without OGG support, for example Internet Explorer. Audacity is handy for exporting in different audio formats. In construct2 you can just create own folders for those AAC-files.
 
I ended up with negative two bombs and a crystal orbiting me until it spun off screen completely.

Aside from that, I love this game! It was a blast to play.
 
Hey gillenew, great game! The look and feel is really perfect. And the game itself is quite polished. This game leaves me wanting more. I reached a score of 1222 points, until I got too close to the frontal aliens and... then they carried me away? O_o I lost all control of my ship but I still had health left.

thanks guys, I was already aware of these bugs. But I could not because resolvelos reached the limit of 100 lines of code: (
the most they could do was put a warning that the player did not try to go to the right of the screen ehehe

and I decided to make pixel art because it is easier to create the various sprites and animations =]

There some feedbacks:

1- The most important thing is the people DO NOT have time to make screenshot and post their scores, that's why doesn't help so much, there something may help you the way how to make automatically publish their scores if you have little knowledge how to use PHP and AJAX, so you are using your personal website.

If you have time to experiment this module, you get better experience for your game creation.


Also there another feedback, it seems repetive gameplay when i need to wait to kill some enemies, until next some minutes to confront a huge army of enemies, i think it may require to have minibosses would be nice, different background parallax image after of defeating miniboses and some waves that makes a good gameplay!

@vrety - actually has a timer to destroy all missiles, every 2 seconds. In most current version I'm developing, I removed the timers and let the missiles chasing you forever, until you destroy them or they catch you.

@joannesalfa - this version to the challenge, I couldn't put many types of enemies or bosses, as they require a complex AI programming. I'm creating mini-bosses and bosses with a lot of enemies in the full version that I'm currently developing. :D

As for the post you mentioned about the scores, I had thought to do this somehow, and also I researched it on the scirra forum, but I preferred to leave to make this in the future
anyway thanks for the feedback and also for providing the links, I didn't know this plugin :}
 
update:
I changed the sprites, I didn't like that other, its looked like an old airplane :P
But this was much better, also I had to modify the concept of colors, cause the old colors was very difficult to combine.
