Skill to increase status ?

Is there a way to make a skill to increase status , not status like [SHARP] but like if use the skill once your (example) Attack status increase by 5, if you use it again increase again by 5 , so the total it's increased by 10.

and how to display the damage dealt , I mean like you attack an enemy and dealt 100 damage , number 100 will be shown
 
What program are you using? Because it automatically displays damage done in XP.
Also, to make that skill work, go into the status section in the database, make a new one that raises your stats (Not sure if this can be done), and make your skill activate that status.
 
I'm using rpg maker xp I downloaded from the official website but the damage done is not shown .. I don't know why , can you help ?

And for the skill , the states in the status section only raise the stats once , like 50to70 and can't be raised again.

What do you mean, can't be raised again?
And I'm afraid I can't help you with the damage display, my trial has run out and I don't have the full thing yet, so all my help is from memory.
 
Um , I mean status like [SHARP] (default states to increase attack) is a status effect that is raise the attack of one character for example 50%. And after that the character will under status effect name SHARP and after 4 turn the effect will disapeared , if you cast SHARP again before it disaper it will only reset the count to 4 , not raise the attack by 50% again.
What I want is , example : a character have 10 defense , he cast INCREASE DEFENSE , his defense become 15 , and if he cast INCREASE DEFENSE again , his defense will become 20.

Sorry for my bad english , I hope you understand what I mean.
 
I don't think that there is a specific one-- you'd have to write it yourself, or request it.

Although there is a more complicated event-only way to do this, but I don't recommend it. It would risk a lot of lag for the effects of one spell.
 
about the display damage ... Maybe there is a [ON/OFF] somewhere in the script ? do you know where is it ?

I found this : @damage_pop = false in script Game_Battler 1 in script editor
I tried to change it but nothing happened , does that have something to do with damage shown ?
 
I suggested this to you elsewhere, but this shouldn't happen if you haven't done any scripting to the game's code.

Unless the attacks in question simply aren't doing any damage, of course. Are you sure that they are?
 
Yes , I'sure. And thing that make this more strange is , I sent my game to my friend. And when my friend play my game , the damage dealt shown. My friend didn't edit anything.

Why is this , maybe the problem is in my Rpgmaker XP ? I've tried to reinstall it , but still not working. Or maybe my pc ? I really need your help ... Thank you ..
