Hey, I was wondering if anyone had any idea how to go about doing this... But I haven't fondled with the scripting side of things at all yet, and I was trying to do this with a common event, and it wasn't really coming to me very easily, so I was wondering:
I want to have a system based on each level you pick a new skill, and it would have to check your class and your skills already gained and display the skills you're now qualified to gain. I.E. if you get Fire1, you would be able to get Fire2, or whatever other first level skills, and if you picked Fire2, you could get Fire3, but you'd still have to get Ice1 and Bolt1, and all the other first level spells before you could get Ice2 or Ice3. And so on and so forth, that you have several branches of skills that you can pursue, and several different classes with different levels at which those skills become available.
Anyone have any idea where I would start with this and no prior experience scripting?
