what im looking for is a simple add on/edit for Rye.jp's Side-view battle system.
as you can see in this screen shot and snippit of code, you can change your entire partys position, but not edit their battler/character position individually. HOWEVER, the BS does take into account whether the actors class is "front row," "middle row" or "back row" (from their classes in the database) and positions them accordingly.
What i need is to be able to position each actor individually (i would like to stagger them) and for the script to ignore their (front, middle, rear row) positioning in the database for display purposes.
