Nice job with the game, but there are negatives.

- You didn't use your own custom menu, instead you sticked with the XAS Tutorial Title System.

- You probably used overused Arshes because he was the only Char Sprite with sword flinging moves, and spells.

- You're using the Default XAS equipment from the tutorial.

- You're using Kan Gao's music without his permission, he clearly stated that TBV's soundtrack is only for your listening pleasure.

- Yours maps have many bugs in it, you didn't edit the tileset right.


Positives:

- Great job with the mapping, I love it! Although your exteriors are kind of "big, and bland".

- You know all the basics to creating an RPG, that's a +1.


If you're going to create something original you're going to be needing to make changes, XAS doesn't allow you to have party members.

Thanks for the feedback. What you said is true about Arshes, I did use him because he has great facesets and already made charactersets. I'd ask for help in making them (I'm not a good spriter), but usually the thread collects dust in the forum. I did change the Title screen, however. Once I uploaded the demo I forgot to change the title. It's in the next demo.

As for the default equipment, I'm changing most of it, but stuff like the Bronze Sword has to stay, because all can do is change the icon and name. =/
