SILENCE¤An Assassin's Tale¤

¤Prologue
Every town -- has an Assassin. The main characters name is Churii (RENAMEABLE). He works as a full time Hitman, he is well renouned, and wanted all across the world. His boss , Terry, who is known as "The Boss" in the game, assigns his next assasinations and later becomes Churii's Rival. Everyday he kills off men put on "The Hitlist," as if it is his whole life, which until later, is his life.

¤Epilogue
Later in the story, Churii finds a change in heart, and decides to get revenge on the boss. Unaware that The Boss adds him to the Hitlist and sends his top assassins after him, he heads out to destroy every trace of what he was. As his hope fades, he finds a blacksmith in a nearby town. Could he be the answer?

Name: Churii (renamable)
Age: Early 30's.
Agent #: 3011
Description: Short, brown haired male. Works for "The Boss" as a hitman, infact, one of the top assassins in the league.

I like the screenshots, the way you used to custom graphics, the prologue and epilogue are okay. Imo this would be in concept development.

And btw Assasin is spelled Assassin.
 
If you haven't finished a story, then don't post it until you do. It's common sense. It's not like there's such a rush that if you don't have a thread up within an hour you'll be killed. You shouldn't taken more time to write something we can actually comment.

Your "story" explains nearly nothing about the game right now. Can you at least explain some things, like maybe Churii's history, how he became an assassin, etc. Something a little more even. Give us at least some of Churii's personality.

If all you really needed was to develop your story and characters (they NEED it) then you should've written up some more, taken out the screenshots, and posted this in Concept Developement. Actually, I think that's you're best bet right now, so you can flesh this out a bit more before you start developement. Honestly, I don't care if the tilesets are supposed to look "cheap or not-it's still painful to look at. Maybe when you're working on your plot you can practice pixelling as well.
 
Yikes!  Those tiles are nothing short of scary.  It's definitely worth it to invest some time learning to pixel properly.  A simple style like Breeze wouldn't take you a great deal of time before you can actually produce some decent material.  I suggest that you check out some tutorials on the basics.  Try Derek Yu's.

Like I said, the graphics are suppose to be "Cheap" like that. It makes the game funner, I don't want it to be one of those lame futuristic games that you get lost into thinking its real life and you realise "Omfg, this was 500 years ago, what the hell am I doing."

It's one thing when the graphics have a cool style and look "cheap" while still managing to look good. Those look like a seven year old opened up Microsoft Paint, screwed around for a bit, and plopped it into RPG Maker XP. They look like they took absolutely no effort to make. So why should I make the effort to play the game?

I would like to meet this 7 year old, who is sooo good with Microsoft Paint?
It's just a simple style. If you don't like my style then go away. Also, I will probally edit it more in the feature, it is just in development...
 
An assassin wouldn't wear clothes like that, he would create a scene. The text in game is very hard to read. The breeze template doesn't suit your style of graphics. The "boss" looks like he has two right hands, the house tiles horribly, and the graphics are very flat. Yeah it's good to see members try new styles, but I don't think you could really play a game with these graphics. Try working on adding more detail to the graphics and the scenes in-game, and your mapping could use a little work!
 
That map, i spent no time on it. Its not even in the game, it was to show theyll be custom tilesets... I havent finished tilesets, i just started 2day. The "font" is not used in the game, just the beginning cutscenes
 
If you've barely started production on this game, and pretty much have no storyline, why did you post it. Take your time on the game before posting a topic, because odds are your not going to continue with this game. And it doesn't matter if the font is only in "the beginning of cutscenes", its unreadable.
 
Don't use "I spent five minutes on that map" as an excuse. You have plenty of time to fix up maps and clean up every aspect of a game (including your storyline) before starting an actual project thread.

As for your tilesets themselves, to put it bluntly, they are pretty bad. You might say the graphics are "cheap" and "original," but they are a complete eyesore. They lack shading, perspective, and look horribly flat and repetitive. I would recommend returning to the RTP or using a different, pre-made style like Inq's tiles. If you really want original artwork, actually read some tutorials and make some sprites before attempting something so huge, because frankly, you've done a really poor job.

this looks like really really bad shit. Id suggest you scrap what you HAVE done (in the five minutes you did it) and actually attempt to make something decent.
