Basically, I'm wondering if there's a script or something to make the fights side-on, so it doesn't use the Battlers, many of which I hate. Something that has the exact same combat system that comes with the game, just with a side view instead.
Just make a forum search using the search engine (in the upper right corner of the page) and search for battle system, side view, CBS or anything of the like. There are plenty of battle system scripts here.
