Shows you watched as a kid

Well I was familiar with both American and Japanese Anime growning up
I enjoyed the best of both worlds^^
I watched the Disney channel and nickelodeon also...

LOVED
Talespin,
Ducktales,
Darkwing Duck,
TMNT,
GI Joe,
Inspector Gadget
Batman
Spiderman
X-men (have the opening theme tune on my cell)

I also loved, still love,

Sailormoon
Dragonball
Ronin Warriors
Patlabor
Bubblegum Crisis
Magic Knight Rayearth
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 Stardust Memories and
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 War in Pocket

just to name a few

Beast Wars, Johnny Bravo, Invader Zim, Ren and Stimpy, Dragonball Z, and Animaniacs. Just to name a few, I'm sure there's more. As a little kid, I was a lazy ass motherfucker.

Since I have an atrocious memory, my list is but a fraction of my actual repertoire of old TV shows.

Sailor Moon
Ren& Stimpy
The Pirates of Dark Water
Voltron
Speed Racer
Thundercats
Cow& Chicken

Those are the only ones that spring to mind. I'm sure there are many more, though.

Oh geez yes Ren & Stimpy. I own all of the first & second seasons on DVD; I should have remembered that. Of course I was a little older when that started coming out. Beavis and Butthead was awesome too :D

Okay, a little bit of Italy in this thread (if you like).
I was a kid in the 80s.
Here in the 80s it was all about Japan anime.
Goldrake aka Grendizer and Mazinger had a tremendous success. Italian TV remade every single opening and closing theme and some of them literally are amazing:
Getter Robot,
Daitarn III,
Starzinger (your Spaceketeers),
Gatchaman,
Devilman,
Hurricane Polymar.
The best were those ones about robots, no doubt. Also dubbing was great even if many names were changed and some scene often got cut.
Personally I loved Tiger Mask and Tiger Mask II (also here the opening theme is in the history of italian TV), Urusei Yatsura (italian title, Lamù, la ragazza dello spazio) I LOVE HER.

How could i not mention Yattaman, The Monkey, He-Man, "Mimì e la nazionale di pallavolo" (japanese Attack, No. 1 !, also this a great success, every little girl loved her).
Hugh!! I was forgetting "Holly & Benji"!!! Captain Tsubasa! A monster of popularity here! I still use those players when i edit my Pro Evolution Soccer teams.

I also remember watching:
the Muppets' show, Wonder Woman, the Dukes of Hazzard, the Bionic Woman, the Six Million Dollars Man... EDIT: Supercar!!!!

And five stars to the legendary:
"the Jeffersons" and later "the Robinsons" (Bill Cosby's Show there, i guess), both fantastic.

I cannot continue... *misty-eyed*

? Elaborate?

Oh, and I remembered some more:

Power Rangers. I can't believe I forgot Power Rangers. I was the hugest fan. And I had such a crush on the pink ranger. O_O
Transformers: Beast Wars

Well, I don't think I should list anymore. It'd be enough to fill up several pages.

Clarissa, from Clarissa Explains it All. Nickelodeon show in the early-mid nineties. Starred a teenage Melissa Joan Hart.

Yes I liked that show, too ...  :-[

Oh goodness, I used to watch so much as a kid.  Let's see what I remember...

Aladdin TV
Little Mermaid TV
Clarissa Explains it All
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Rocko's Modern Life
Ren and Stimpy (before they changed writers)
Pirates of Dark Water
Flintstones
Jetsons
Scooby Doo
Johnny Quest
Tiny Toons
Looney Toons
Power Rangers (of course)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Batman (1991 cartoon)
Batman (the live action episodes from the 60s)
Superman
Spiderman
X-men
Dinosaurs
Voltron
Thundercats
Tailspin
Beetle Borgs
Masked Rider
Fraggle Rock
The Muppet Show
Gargoyles
The Simpsons
Rugrats
Pokemon
Transformers
Rescue Rangers
Legends of the Hidden Temple
American Gladiators (I can't believe they brought this back on NBC; I'm so psyched)
WWF (It counts, but at least back then it looked semi-realistic)

There were so many others, but damned if I remember what they were called.  And this is up until like... I was about 13 or so, that's why there isn't a shitload of anime on the list.

And to those that were curious, Yuugiou didn't catch my interest until I was almost nineteen.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I wanted to be sure, though.

I remember watching that show, too. I remember freaking out when I saw her as a witch in Sabrina. O_O

Uh, still as a kid, of course.

I think I used to watch anything that Nickelodeon aired. Except for that damn new show. "Why are there no talking dinosaurs in this show?!"
