Shields that adds to Attack

Hey. I need a bit of help. See, I'm using the shield armour type by making it into a "Sidearm" slot.
The only thing it does is to increase attack, and Nothing Else, so no extra animation or anything.

I just need attack to increase when you equip the shield (or sidearm in this case). Can anyone help?

I think I understand what you are saying. :s (That is, if you are using an Armor item to do this with.) If you created the item in the Armors menu in the database, then all you would have to do is set the PDEF and MDEF numbers to zero and then set the STR+ to the value that you want to increase the attack by. If you made the item through scripting, then I don't really know because I am just starting to learn how to script. Hope this helps.
