SUMMARY

Shattered Hourglass is a Turn-Based RPG inspired by Breath of Fire, Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger titles. Features over 20 hours of content, time traveling, crazy amount of optional stuff, insanely challenging battles, unlockable job classes and unique job class skills. There are 6 different endings that depends on your actions. You can be good, bad, neutral or careless, it's your choice. Set your goal and change everything you want, your story will be tailored by your gamestyle.

SHORT STORY SUMMARY

You are a Time Mage, you can change people's fate by controlling the time, even travel in time.
Time Mages are nothing more than a criminal for a one man called the Mage Slayer. If you can change your fate by altering history, this makes you a criminal, it's against to world's flow. One way or another, all Time Mages do this crime in one day and gets punished by the Mage Slayer.

Unfortunately things aren't always as they seem... Did this Mage Slayer wants to kill all Time Mages or he's up to much great things? Only time will tell.

Prepare to get lost in time, meet the most opposite party members, explore the new world, fight against the most fearsome creatures, be whatever you want and travel in time.

nice... but you should improve the mapping. (grass on the beach ?!)
In the forrest use also flowers and weed.
In the map with the snow... the nature objects ( like rocks ) are too aligned. It's not so natural...
 
I tried out the first 15mins of the game. The writing was so-so. Seeing that English isn't your native language I expected a lot worst.

The opening scene didn't hook me. You don't need to tell us that Duran is an untrained time mage because we'll see all that in a few moments when the Slayer walks in. It's silly to have him talk out his actions. "I ate too much and now I'm sleepy. I think I'll go to bed and sleep" *walks over to bed*
Instead you could show us what he is like through his thoughts. Maybe he's a procrastinator or, better yet, show us that he has plans. This will create conflict because he'll be interrupted when the slayer knocks at the door.
Knocks at the door? What a polite and thoughtful slayer. Do you think he'd come back tomorrow if Duran asked? Probably not. How can you raise the intensity level?
We could have seen the slayer sneaking around outside watching Duran go to bed. Then either kick down the door or smash through the window.

As for my first game, I know my mapping is not the best and I'm trying my best to improve in my next game.
There are flowers on forest maps but random weed etc. needs to be added, they are lack of it. The map you mention is tropical island, it's pretty natural to have grass next to the beach.
Yeah the rocks on the snow map... I never touched them since 2011, it was my first town & first day on RPGMaker VX Ace... That town got memories... you know ;_;

You are right about inner voice, it would be 10 times better. I was about to remake the intro and expand it, great ideas. Thank you!

H... H-hey! He's actually very polite when talking to people and short-tempered.
 
I've fixed some aligned objects, redesigned the old maps, some of my lazy mappings are now recreated and I've created a new intro.
