Shadow hearts : the covenant

Well ,
After looking a bit at the forum's newest posts (I'm not going to be caught using Necromancy )
I didn't find any post about Shadow hearts 2 ..
And I think it's a extremely good rpg so ,
I wil make a post about it .

Wel lets hear some opinions .

One night, I went out and bought Koudelka and every Shadow Hearts game.  I played Koudelka which was pretty unique.  Some of the gameplay elements didn't work like they should, but the story was pretty great (and underrated) and the last boss fight was pretty unique

You had to LOSE the fight in order to get the good ending.

As far as the Shadow Hearts series... I haven't even unwrapped the plastic yet.

Shadow Hearts is definitely one of my favorite RPG series' ever.  Covenant was my favorite, though I enjoyed From the New World as well.  I hope they'll make another; perhaps in a modern day setting this time.  There's no word about one though, sadly.

I liked Covenant the most , I think becuase that was the first one I played.
But the story and judgement ring made it extremely fun . ..
(With the judgement ring the boring standaard battle's go fun )

I love the Shadow Hearts series! Covenant was also my first one as I expect it would be for most people. I enjoyed the quirky characters and story based on historical events and ring based battle system enough to seek out the first installment of the series which I found to be unplayable after Covenant. I also enjoyed New World but I did not enjoy it as much as Covenant. I found the characters in Covenant as well as the story to be much more interesting. I also love how it is the one RPG series in which I can two-shot the last boss (eternal ring for the win).
