set move route problem PLZ HELP

Is there a way to make ur character unmovable or unchangeable graphics when moving ur character in the cutscene in set move route event?

I have a problem when i have set move route event going on like switching the graphics. When i press the down or any other movement button then the graphics changes cuz its trying to move. so another words, the set move route event is overlap by the movement system. Is there away u can freeze ur character to where when u press any button including moving button that ur character does not overwrite the set move route event?

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but if you want your character not to move when you press the move buttons during a cutscene, then this is the simple way, just make an event and put in a set move route for your character, and click wait, you can make it for any amount of frames as long as you click repeat action, and you have to make the event a parralell process. Then when the cutscene is done, just switch maps and you will be able to move your character again. (If you want to stay in the same map, then just make two maps that look the same and move your character to the same spot on the next map.) That's one way of doing it.

In Set Move Route, you'll see 'Move Animation' ON and OFF, click OFF. You also see 'Direction Fix'. Turn that on IF YOU WANT YOUR CHARACTER TO NOT TURN AROUND. Make sure to turn it ON and OFF respectively afterwards.
