Ummm, what is- Oh heheheh, I was looking at the top one :blush:

Wow, it's very lovely, but the red parts of her clothes, look like clothes, could you perhaps change the shading for it to look more metallic because the red is armour. It looks really nice, especially the hair, and with the armour it has a gold trimming. Overall it looks awesome, keep up to fantastic work!

I've been piling up with work lately and I haven't been active cause I'm really tired all the time. But I attempted to fix the metallic problem, I made a comparison, do you think it looks better? I'm not sure how to make it metallic looking, so I just tried brightening up some areas.

Ummm, well that won't work because the metal palette has more contrast then the cloth palette, and a brighter highlight.

Also, don't worry about time, i'm pretty sure that this game doesn't have a deadline or anything, so as long as you do something, and just not nothing for a long time with absolutely no excuse.

Well, I have finally undertaken the task of creating userbars for the team! I guess I'll just have to get Mr. Leader to approve before I give one to anybody because quite a few people have joined and left. So I'll be working on those.

So I tried at the armor again.. This time I used a reference from regular RTP, if this don't work then I have no idea what to do.

I think you're using too many colours on the sprites, including the skin, and metal has much more contrast, which is why it doesn't look like armour. Your palette should also have more hue variation; highlights lean towards yellow, while shadows typically go towards purple. And the red is way too saturated. I made an edit here, and tried picking out your red palette, then realised that there were a lot of colours, so that's what the palettes on there are for. Mine is on the left, but not the black thing; ignore that. So do you think mine looks better, or...? Also, there is a bit of pillowshading in the bottom, red area of the dress-armour-thing.

Hmmm, well you don't have it, I tried it myself but somehow it seems that yours always looks better. I guess it would be better for her to wear cloth instead of armour... Anyway, you may continue with the cloth instead of armour, sorry for the ridiculously hard task.

Also, there is a bit of pillowshading in the bottom, red area of the dress-armour-thing.

I just figured out what pillowshading meant like right now. and if you mean the top part of the bottom red armor thingy. Then that shading is dedicated for shades under her hands and arms. I'm just assuming that's what you meant cause you didn't shade that part on your version of the sprite.

psstt.. The only real way to have metal I think is to use more contrast on it. After all Metal is shiny and other parts of the body and clothes are not. I attempted to do that, but I guess it didn't look right for you

Well... I have lost interest in this game, and have no desire to continue it at all :sad: , if your a big fan of this you may continue this game, but I'm dropping out of this, I guess I overcomplicated things and generated to much things that I can handle. :down: I'm sorry for the staff's hard work with this going to waste. It's been very fun and exciting for me and hopefully for others.

The best thing I've gotten out of this is a good time :toot:

Actually, it's not because you were slow, it was because I overloaded the game, this was the furthest i've ever gotten in a game, so... yeah, it's not anyone, it's just me, so... :down:

And if your making a game, I'd gladly help out until i find a way to occupy myself for spring break.

Sorry, I just felt like this was a disaster plot and stuff, I'm glad that people actually keep track of this thread, I'm going to try and start again and go small, nothing so I can finish it in about maybe two month at the least, then i'm gonna move up, I might pick this up again and re-write it when I get up there, and have the abilities to pull it off.

I found that once you write the story completely the next step is to database. Once you've done that it's all down hill from there.

Well I just got really messed up, I started to become confused and stuff like that, as i said, I might pickup this idea again, and re-make it. And there isn't really anything I can do about it other then start all over, which I don't intend on doing for the time being. So until I could possible get myself to change my mind, this is a failed attempt.
