Heheh, well my dream battle system is quite simple that I might even be able to do it myself, but considering I started learning RGSS yesterday I probably won't be able to, it's not complicated and all though.

Yay! ^_^ This is the 101st post for this thread! Also I've updated the userbars and I've made one fore every character except for Ginistiner and Selia's parents. Hope this will get more people to put the userbars into their signature.

Well two of my spriters quit... And lune de la Cruor isn't responding to any of my pms, so I have to assume the worst... Things are not turning in my favor. I'm not sure if I can complete it with myself doing, mapping, spriting everything but the icons, scripting, composing music, eventing, and writing... I guess if the material I use for my game isn't original, then I would have the slightest chance of completing this game, which I want to do ever so much right now... Times are tough, so I might start Pming people requests to join... Ugh, I don't want this project to fail...

Oh, well thanks for the offer but the only spriter in the team is currently doing the icons, but if s/he quites like the others then your welcome to do the icons, I'm having a hard time coming up with the character's clothing and appearance, You could help me come up with ideas for the characters clothes because other then the facesets I'm totally clueless of what the other people other then Selia is going to look like.

I can be your spriter, but I have not used any other style other than RTP. If you want me to be your spriter I can do RTP really well, I CAN MAKE FROM SCRATCH using a Template or Frankensprite . Here's just a very minimal amount of what I've done, maybe 2% :O

Well you definitely are very good at spriting, I guess you can try the koemushi template, and if it doesn't work out, I might even switch to the rtp because your spriting is absolutely wonderful, but did StrawberryFlower put you up to this? Any way here is the koemushi person, you can sprite anything you feel like because I don't really have anything in particular, maybe just a random npc person?

Please let me know if this is an epic fail or not. But I decided to try making my own Template o.o Somehow, I tried combining RTP ideas with koemushi style. I call it Star Template :O Maybe if I make the full thing people might actually like it.

Let me know if you want me to continue or try something else.

That template is is good, but the idea of combineing the rtp with the koemushi wasn't such a good idea, I like how you made it and all but I think that it would look much better if it leaned on the more human proportians, I'll try and edit the template to show what I mean. But it's good so far, I guess "Serene Plume" will be using the star template it this works out.

I tried to make the head more thinner and the arms a bit longer, I don't know why but when you sprite on this the arms always come out pointy enough to stab a person with :3 I think you should continue but again, you should try and lean towards the human like side instead of the rtp side, this template sorta reminds me of these chixo dolls that are all over the tv and they are like half chibi and half human proportions.

I updated Selia's illustration, now she is the youngest in the group but can still have an ending with Venier and Lunere. I think I might have to change everyones illustration now, I might, we'll see...

So... I tried completing the other views of the Star Template. But I changed the eyes because I didn't like the ones I made before, they made it look like an alien. Like something from Hybridia. O_O Tell me what you think about it and then I'll complete the walking animation and also create a manly version :haha: If you like the original eyes I can put them back also :wink:

I was also trying to make a more detailed sprite this morning and I ended up creating something that was almost 1.5 times the original RTP size. :crazy: I doubt anyone could use this template without having all new tilesets. Or at least making the original's bigger.

Wow, you must have a lot of time on your hands, I think the template is very good and you made a good decision changing the eyes, The 1.5 times rtp one looks great with proportions. You should definitely complete the star template.

I got bored last night and I started to draw a chibi person, I really liked it so I scanned it and but color into it then cell shaded it, it took a while but it's a nice picture.

I guess I might start concept art, or something, I really have no idea what use this picture it, any ideas?

Awwww! That looks the clothes I gave her! :3 Hehe. Concept art is always good! :D Yeah, just use it as concept art and stuff. Or maybe a comical part of the story, and picture could pop up! I've seen that in games, and it always makes me smile.

Ahh, I see, comical parts, I'm not sure though, maybe something that is unlocked, I'm not sure about it, the game is turning into a serious matter with drama and stuff, I won't want it like: "Selia opened the door, and Gnistiner popped out, and then a picture pops up with chibi people fighting" it would look odd.

I understand that. I tried making my game serious as well, but Star wants to put comical parts in. I told him to just save it for NPC's and side things - but not the actual main story. XD

Yeah, and that I can only draw that good when I feel like it otherwise it comes out really horrible... Anyway, I think that I should develope the story more then drawing concept art, although it might attract people but the overall story has a higher priority.
