Seph's World Map Queries

First of all, if Seph is reading this, I have tried to do these things for myself and have solved some things, and I know that you have said you hate this script on creation asylum, but I nearly have it working fully so please help!

1) How can I make the word Neqa'ael dissapear so the photoshopped name can be seen.

2) How and where should I insert a bgm to be played during this scene (I know how to end it and make the teleported maps music play myself)

3) How can I disable the exit command so the player is forced to choose a location?

4) How can I termporarily disable some locations without removing them, such as if you travelled overseas on a boat and couldn't get back but it was still intact?

5) How do I take away the command window altogether? (i have it where it starts as turned off at the moment)

Even if you provide just a few of the answers I would be most grateful. Thanks.

Since that is a rather simple script, I will try to redo it for the V.4 release (sometime within the next 2 weeks). I will add all those things to the list to do. If you don't hear from me in a week, bump this topic back up.
 
OK will do, if you are going to redo it could I also suggest that you have it where you can disable any of the three options. In my instance, I only wish to have the list option available to the player. I managed to make to this happen alreasy like this:

when 0
@list_cmd.visible = @list_cmd.active = true
list_mode
when 1
@list_cmd.visible = @list_cmd.active = true
list_mode
when 2
@list_cmd.visible = @list_cmd.active = true
list_mode

But it still shows as normal mode for a second or so this way.

Anyway, thanks alot for redoing this, its a really good script thats easy to make your game look rather special!

I haven't heard from you in a week so I'm bumping this back up to the top. Please make this happen Seph, coded well it will be extremely popular, as alternative to the fiddly world maps with vehicles and an unusable mode 7.
 
Brilliant, I've just made a map for another project, Final Fantasy Zero to use this too. So it's going to go to use.

EDIT:

I just had another idea, of setting the text colour of each place, the you could seperate towns dungeons and secret area's.
 
I might just do that. I have already got quite a bit done. Theres plenty of new options and such, and the code is much cleaner. It no where near complete, but much better than the old version already. I will keep you posted.
