What is this:

I'm glad you asked. SOW is a fantasy RPG based on a transpiring war between two countries, Runevale and Naidu. The main character, Amim, is a soldier loyal to the Runevale Elite Guard, who gets caught up in an intricate web of propaganda, traitors and deceit. You start off on the southern continent of Silvermyst, and slowly make your way to the bustling hub of Runevale City, discovering much along the way. I wont give out any spoilers, but trust that SOW is going to be as exciting as we can make it, full of difficult puzzles and hard battles, but rewards as well!

Characters:

Amim is a soldier in the Runevale Elite guard. From a very young age, his family taught him the rewards of loyalty to his country, and hard work, as well as the values of family. In times of Peace, the Elite Guard has served as a defensive force, responding to natural disasters and emergency, and Amim has been enjoying a reprieve in these calm times.

Vashant is a powerful general in the King's army, whose sword is swift and sense of justice is often severe. Always quick to respond, Vashant has been at the forefront of each defensive retalliation to every attack on Runevale since long before his promotion. As Amim's higher-in-command, Vashant is who Amim answers to in times of peace and disaster.

Erica was originally an orphan of a family that was innocent bystander to a previous assault on a long-gone town in runevale, Erica managed to pull herself through the ranks, managing to enroll in a mysterious university for the arcane arts. Specializing in curse removal, healing and various other abilities, meeting Amim was easily foreseeable for the would-be medic. It didn't take long for Erica and Amim to realize that they were two parts of the same whole.

Eralys is Amim and Erica's daughter, of 9 years old. Studying under her mother, she has managed to learn a skosh of magic, but clearly has a long way to go before she can match either of her parent's strengths.

Tam was one of Amim's old bunk buddies in the Elite guard. A highly accurate bowman, Tam was a keen eye in a group of short-range soldier types. Quick on his feet, and just as keen minded, Tam has always been Amim's inferior, but eager to help. Though, during the most recent overthrow, has gone missing quite unexpectedly...

You don't have enough information to qualify as a good Project Discussion topic. If you don't want this to be locked by one of the mods, you have to add at least one good paragraph of plot/story description and two screenshots. It's also help if you maybe told us about your game and perhaps about the characters as well.

From the video though this looks like a decent XP game. Some of the mapping could be better, specifically the world maps, but I was pleased with the town maps. You used Inq's town tileset very well. Again though, it's hard to comment when all we have is a video.

That was the point of including the link to my website, which includes an excruciating amount of detail. If you want to be anal about where in my post the information is, I can copy/paste it all here.

I wasn't being anal, I was telling you about the rules. I don't make 'em, I was trying to help you so this wouldn't get locked. :/

And I did check the site, but the "Story" page doesn't load for me.

You willingly serve a tyrant king. And yet you have the nuts to call us fools!

Though I've only seen two little snippets, your dialogue seems really cheesy.  Part of it is the the rather juvenile language (i.e. nuts that's something that twelve year olds say) mixed with a plot that seems to revolve around serious political turmoil.  You may want to go through and consider what kind of word choice would be appropriate for each character.  But while you do that you may want to put more work into each character's identity because really from the teaser posted here they all seem to lack any coherent persona. 

Seriously dad gets mission, sends obedient cute child inside, and leaves without saying goodbye or really showing that there is any relationship within the family whatsoever?  Just some things to consider while you work on this.
