Scripting Advice

hey i would like to make my own scripts so i can customize my game only within the limits of xp or vx NOT what i can find on the internet. i know it takes many years to get good, but could som1 tell me where i can learn to start making basic scripts but not common sence basic like changin the font. i really think it would be fun to script for myself and share my work. :thumb:

Three good places to look. Here's an idea. Go look at Scene_Map. Read every line of code, and if something is called, go to that something and see what it does specifically, or if you see an expression you don't know, look it up in the Help Files. It doesn't necessarily take years to become good at scripting. If you work hard and ask specific questions you'll be making your own big scripts in no time.
