Script Combinations?

I am working on the foundation of an game with RMXP. Basically, I want the game to work a little bit like the Shining Soul series of games. Never played Shining Soul? Okay then, I'll give you a quick rundown.

At the beginning of the game, you choose the character class you want. You are also able to set the name of your character as well as a palette for him to be viewed with. In-game gameplay consists of you as your character traveling to each of the dungeons, getting to the end, where a boss waits, killing it, and repeating. The combat system is Legend of Zelda-esque in the sense that your character runs around on the map, you push the attack button, he attacks it, and the number of damage you did appears over the enemy's head. After enough hits, the enemy dies, revealing the amount of EXP it gave you and occasionally drop an item or two. Upon leveling up, you are given two separate types of points: stat points and skill points. You get 4 stat points per level, which you can use to add one point to your stats to turn him whichever direction you'd like. You get one skill point which determines what skills you have, and how powerful skills you already have are.

My game, however, will run a little differently. There will be a world map where you can travel from town to town and dungeon to dungeon, so no dungeon selection map is required. I do want the character to be customized at the beginning of the game, in terms of appearance and class. I also want the battle system like the Legend of Zelda. After all of this, I realize that there will be a problem with the current menu, so I need a menu that works with a single person. I want there to be a skill menu/item menu that can pop up outside of the battles that RMXP would normally include. And, if possible, I would like the weapon animations to be different with the weapon equipped for each class.

My question overall is where/what all scripts will I need to complete this task. It's a bit hefty, I know, but I think it would pay off in the end.

I already have tested and liked the Easy Character Creator Script, but don't know how to change the different armors, weapons that appear on the character, etc. What should I edit to make it adapt to my game?

I have seen, but have not tested, too many of the LoZ type battle systems, so which script should I get and why (if possible)?

I want to know where I can find a skill and stat point assignment script, if one exists, however the way I plan to do this may not work with one of the existing scripts out there.

So thank you to all who have read through this huge hunk of text, I appreciate your looking into this. If there are any links to people/sites that contain one of these kinds of scripts, as well as how to edit them to adapt to my game, then please, do not hesitate to let me know.

Sketch~

For the battle system, I strongly suggest XAS Action RPG system.
It has a lot of features and is easy to use, except for making new
weapons, because of the amount of graphics needed.

And I might be able to come up with a script for stat points and
skill points, if you can tell me how you go about spending them.

I downloaded and played around with the XAS Action Battle System. I really, really like it. Unfortunately, I have very little to no knowledge of scripting, and have no idea how to make heads or tails of all of it. If you could direct me somewhere that can help me, that would be great. As for the skill/stat point system, I will create a video of an example--one from Shining Soul II that has a bit of an example.

EDIT: After working with the tutorial, I understand just a little bit about how to get some things to work. I am a little foggy, however on how I might want to add weapon animations, as well as several weapons. They can all have the same animations, I don't care, but I would like a different animation for each type of weapon. Any advice on how to do this?

Secondly, after my character creation process, one of the classes I plan on making is a shape-shifter class. This class can morph into eight different beasts with their own advantages and disadvantages, with a different set of sprites for each morph. Any way to do this without too much scripting?

Another one of my goals is to take the existing version of the "Easy Character Creator v 2.0," and modify it so that I can only edit ONE character and not edit his equipment. His appearance, however, I would be willing to change.

And I have already taken my video of the skill point system in Shining Soul II, however Youtube is under maintenance, so I will be waiting a couple of hours before I actually upload my video. And after that, I would like to point out some differences that I would like to have in the skill point system.

This is all I can think of right now. Any help and/or advice is GREATLY appreciated.

ANOTHER EDIT: Video's up on Youtube now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haolhSi0Gp4

This shows Shining Soul II's skill point system. My problem is, I don't want skills to level up per se, but I would rather have a skill point system which allowed you to basically purchase new skills when you reach certain levels. For example: at level 2, a mage has 1 skill point. In a new menu, they are able to spend their one point on a new skill. At her level, she is able to purchase fireball, lightning bolt, or hydro blade. By using that one point, she learns any of those new skills. Higher level skills will cost more skill points, but the user can still purchase earlier, weaker spells with their points. This is basically how the skill point system will work.

The stat point system is pretty much fine as it is, but because of the way that stats are set up in RMXP, it would be better not to make it 4 stat points per level, but more like 10.

And finally, due to the complex nature of the XAS Action Battle System, I am unable to use the character creator mentioned above. At this point, my character customization will ONLY be changing the name, class, and gender, with different classes having different armor. This is because I have to create sprites, which I am also not very good with, for the hit animations and the attack animations for each character set. And with the character maker, not even an experienced spriter would go so far as to work on such a complicated spriting job.

Sorry about my post's length, but this forum prevents you from bumping every 3 days, so I can't just add things on to what I have via short, new posts.
