It surprises me how so many people on this forum I have met just because of a name change! Its also interesting to see their previous names and what not, so Im going to make a list of all the sn's that .org has had!

Think of this as a SN archive. Just post here with your screen name and any changes you have made to it or just post the name you had before you changed it, and why you changed it/picked that name.

As for me, I started here as Tokyo Kenshin (yes, I know, and it still burns) but changed it to Moogle Sprite for awhile, then eventually got it shortened to moog by teloch on irc. Ive also changed it a couple times to some obscure names, the most recent being mutated kirby.

i was Közi on .net, and now Cruelty on .org. i never understood why people change their display name so much. i always thought that usernames were supposed to be permanent, no matter how stupid they are. it confuses me when people change their avatar, signature, and user name all at once and i have no idea who is who. i just assume everybody with a weird name is despain.

I've almost always been Venetia. For a short time before the presidential election, I was Nancy Pelosi. On 4/1/08 I was Venitis. I was also Venetia MacGyver for a while, and Venetia! for a while.

Well, for most of my time on the internet, I've been Glitchfinder. (I won't post what I had before becasue I don't wish to reveal any part of my name) Anyway, I switched to Glitchfinder when I tried to make a photobucket account and found the name I used at the time already taken, and came up with something fairly random. I liked it, so I decided to start using that instead.

I registered with Viridian Moon, which had been my screenname on the Internet since I was like 12 (and it has nothing to do with Pokemon; I just thought it sounded cool or something, and the moon relates to my interest in astronomy), then changed it to Perihelion because I was thoroughly bored with VM and wanted something cooler. Again, no real meaning behind it; I just like it. I was Aphelion for a while elsewhere, but Perihelion abbreviates more nicely.

i've had a metric fuck of whacky one-shots but really only three or so PERMANENT NAMES. when i joined .org i was Teloch. i attempted to permachange that to shepherd a couple months ago when Despain permanently adopted missingno. but it didn't work out so i stopped caring. a few weeks ago though i switched to domovoi, which changed to domowoj within a few days (same word, looks cooler). i'm going to attempt to make this one stick!

There was this Italian model named Venetia who I thought was smokin' and I really liked the name. But I didn't fully adopt it (I was previously named platinumkitty, as a teen, after a pendant i had) until (and this is gay) I registered for FFXI. I thought of the Venetia Shield from FFIX (I think?) and the name wasn't taken, so thar she blows

I wanted to keep in touch with some FFXI friends after I quit, so I held onto the name. Even after losing touch with them, I kept it. Now I like it so much I want to change my real name to it @_@

I started out as Gearpunk (I used to be a massive pseudohipster faggot who thought victorian steampunk style was the shit (I was a MASSIVE FAGGOT when I joined .org did you know?,)) but Miek has been my second name (it started as an inside joke and kind of grew) for so long that I just defaulted to it after a while since I always referred to myself as Miek anyway. After that I've had a couple temporary names based on Mr. Toad-esque manias of mine (Chimmy Ray, Dr. Winston O'Boogie,) but those didn't stick. I think I'm going to keep every berries for a while, though.
