WARNING: MAY run badly on slow computers.
Scarred Realms: Age Of The Titans is very much a combat based game, with only a basic story line, so this will be fairly short. However, you will be surprised how much fun content I will be able to squeeze into this short game.
Story
70 years after the 9th Great War (and 900 years before the happenings of my first Scarred Realms game), the world of Narumia was once again peaceful, balance restored by the ever vigilant
Titans.
However, after the arrival of the Benevolent, a vindictive race of super-beings bent on causing the destruction of all other intelligent beings, (No one is sure how they found their way to Narumia. Although few in number, they are extremely dangerous.) things changed. The Titans grew wild, ripping up landscapes, destroying villages, wiping out entire civilisations.
There seemed no end to the Titans wrath, no army could stand up to their minions since the dissapearance of the great books of magic; which contained all sorts of powerful spells a magician could learn.
All hope seemed lost, until a looter named (insert your name here) discovered an orb, hand crafted by the Gods themselves.
It could locate the Titans and teleport the user close to their base(s). (As well as other dungeons so that gameplay works better) Using this, and another discovery that the pages of the great books had been torn apart and scattered around dungeons, he started his quest to slay each and every one of the Titans and restore peace to Narumia.
Titans.

World
Since this game is heavily dungeon based, you will spend most of your time either in a dungeon, or in your base, deep within the ruin chambers.
The dungeons are all ranked in difficultly, starting of with Rank1 (Evermyst Forest and The Ruin Chambers), and ending with Rank6 (MT Evermoon: The city, MT Evermoon: Damned Castle)
You progress and unlock new dungeons by slaying your main enemies: The Titans (who are the game bosses). Although some dungeons will have a boss, these are only considered sub bosses.
Although the Titans may not be your biggest worry...
Areas that you 'visit':
Evermyst Forest,
The Pit (you may have been there if you played my first Scarred Realms game that I have currently put on hold)
Dethtrap Swamp (Actually an off-shore part of Lagasakiii Swamp, again you may have been there if you played my first Scarred Realms game that I have currently put on hold),
The Barren Lands (you may have been there if you played my first Scarred Realms game that I have currently put on hold),
The Underlands (Underneath the Dire Hills, you may have found the entrance to them in Scarred Realms),
Evermoon (Currently the only main city in Scarred Realms, in this game it has been destroyed),
The Fel Plains (North of the Dire Hills),
Worlds End (It's in a parallel dimension),

Features
No grinding levels (well, you could if you wanted...) - There are only 10 levels you can level-up to, and it is not necessary to reach the maximum level. However, a lot of exp is needed to reach each level, and stat increases are substantial.
100's of weapons and armour - Using a well thought out, evented random loot system, you will need to search through dungeons to find the loot you want to build your character, do you want to sacrifice defence for a little extra damage? Do you want to waste an item slot to gain more exp? You decide (duh)!
Real time, action battles - No more boring, slow paced pokemon style battles, all fighting is done on the map!
Exciting companion system - Tiered of trawling through dungeons alone? High level chests can yield pets!
There are a total of 12 unique pets to take into battle with you, from dogs and imps, to Greater Demons and Cerberus'! Maybe, you could even find the Legendary Phoenix!
Chests: To make looting a little easier for you, chests are color coded, so you always have a vague idea of what you might be getting from the loot!
Wooden chests: average healing items.
Bronze chests: Hp and Mp potions, uncommon quality gear, and low rarity spells.
Green chests: Higher level healing items, or uncommon and some rare quality gear.
Red Chests: Rare quality gear, SOME epic quality gear, and rare spells.
Blue Chests: Epic quality gear, normal standard pets, and some rare spells.
Metal Chests: Any pet (EXCLUDING The baby dragon and phoenix), epic quality gear, and some legendary gear and spells)
NOTE: The dog pet is a 100% reward from the Metal chest in the Forest Fortress dungeon (and the Phoenix has a 1 in 9000 chance of dropping too).
Spells: There will be 100's of different spells to utilise in dungeons, choosing which 5 to hot-key will become a big decision!
Types of spells:
ENERGY - These are only obtained by levelling up (excluding one which is obtained during the tutorial), they use minimum amounts of mana, and deal damage depending on your spirit and attack level. They are unaffected by enemy resistances.
Fire - What's to say? They cost high and hit hard. Use them effectively against nature based enemies!
Ice - Although they don't hit particularly hard, they have some handy slowing effects and a few super fast casting ones to wipe out weak enemies with little effort (or worrying about missing with a high cost spell)
Holy(and Unholy) - Almost all holy spells are healing based, but there are two damaging ones, they deal average damage.
Unholy spells tend to be more creative and interesting to use than any others, they often have unpleasant status effects.
Mele - These are mostly buffs (beneficial spells you cast on yourself), however, there are quite a few nastly little ones that are a must for anyone intending to base their gear on outright mele damage.
Pet - What's to say, they are only learnt by your pet(s)....That's about it..
Destruction - All the most powerful spells are classed as destruction, even if they are technically fire, or Unholy.
These will cost very high mana, but are definitely worth it. Grab one of these bad boys ASAP!
WoW style item categorisation (coloured names): For those of you who don't know...
White = Common
Green = Uncommon
Blue = Rare
Purple = Epic
Orange = Legendary
Dungeons: To make things interesting, I've invented many different types of dungeon to keep the player interested. They are as follows-
Normal - As simple as they get, loot as much as you can and finish the dungeon without dying or running out of time (you are given enough time to explore; don't worry!
Race (non combat) - Get through the obstacle course as fast as you can. The better your time, the better the end loot!
Race (combat) - Same as normal, except your loot is based on how fast you finish the dungeon.
Mosh Pit - You are given a time to go beserk in a small room and kill as many enemies as you can in the time limit (without dying). The more killed, the better your reward!
Survival - Just survive as long as you can..Easy. The longer you stay alive, the better your reward! (don't waste energy on unnecessary killing)
'Tournament' - Beat tough enemies in a 1v1 fight (one after another), see how far you get! (Reward is based on how many fights you win)
The Titan Bases - Simpler than the normal ones, get to the boss, kill it.
Now, for the really fun part. In any dungeon you complete (excluding Titan bases), your score or time is recorded (overwritten if you beat it), so you can compete with your friends to see who is the best! Not only that, I've submitted my score (I didn't cheat them, honest) to see if you can beat me at my own game. The fun never ends!
Hardcore Mode: After you beat the game, some dungeons are re-playable in a hardcore mode, especially designed to test masters! Expect a few changes in these...Maybe an extra level...

The only 'friendly' character that I can talk about without spoilers is you really.....and since you design your own class....there is no point.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 = used to hot-key skills in the skill menu, and you can press them to cast the hot-keyed spells.
q, w, e = same as above except for items. NOTE: some items can only be used from the menu and some items can only be used from the field.

The Demo
I have a short demo ready for you guys, there are probably a few mistakes in it, and I intend to update the intro, but it will give you a good idea (ish) about what the game will be like.

I'll be updating this with more info and screenshots soon.
