Oh, it's okay. They have grounds to say that anyway. A lot of people are using that style recently and it can get annoying to an extent, I guess x3

Personally I love it and think it is great. Keep in mind that unlike a lot of people here I actually like the anime style, and I am not an artist.
I don't think you should change your style just because of other peoples opinions. However if you are just trying new things to improve yourself then that's great. Just remember your direction should always come from within.

Agreed. If you try to do what isn't you or isn't something you enjoy, your art can suffer, or you may even stop doing it as much. Your art is established quite nicely and if you keep refining it I am sure you'll be at a level that many aspire to be. (@ Anglachel, are you the same one as NoPDS? If so, *huggles*)

You know, you monochrome semi-realism drawing would actually look like a pretty realistic take on an asian woman, if not for the nose. I've not idea what exactly it is about the nose, but it's the only part that actually screams anime to me. I know a girl with eyes like that.
