Get that shit [[on PS3]] and add me. my psn is makasusan.
But yeah its everything that GTAIV should've been in my opinion.
Without being to serious. Sure it may not look like a 100 million dollar budget game. But the shear amount of content and the things that you can do in this game are sure to keep you around for a while. Its rather short [[if you're just playing the main storyline]] roughly 24 hours [[I've got 30 and only 62% of the game done. But thats because I keep dicking around, finding new interesting things and causing various mayhem. Its well worth the money and is a must buy for any sandbox game fan. Or GTA fan for that matter.
Of course it comes with its flaws [[cars tend to have a habit of disappearing out of thin air sometimes]] and from what I've heard it has a habit of freezing [[which I've yet to encounter besides my PS3 being a fuck.]] But that aside its excellent and you should definitely get it. :thumb:
I really wish I could explain how awesome this game is but seriously its a must have. I also hear its a great couple game. :3 just because you can be a chick or a dick [[guy]]. But again the shear amount of content in this game is crazy.
Its absolutely hilarious to see a cop grab an innocent civilian and use them as a human shield to try and take you or various other civilians down. And starting an all out pimp war is the just filled with lots of hilariousness.
The game is more action oriented and more of a run and gun [[there is a duck button but I've yet to use it to save my life]]. But expect to sometimes get cheated and die. I can't count the number of times an exploding car door has hit me, knocked me down just to have a rival gang roll up, park on top of me and blow themselves up with a rocket launcher. Which does lead to some serious WTF moments. But its still great nonetheless.
I've yet to really play online because of the fact that the waiting period for the game setup is absolutely ridiculous. But they do have a nice lobby where you can do various things, like play basketball or just slap each other around. Which also leads to another serious problem with the online. The fact of the matter is that its pure chaos. And sometimes you get some unfair deaths but for the most part this is an ace game.
But still if you feel that GTA left a serious void in your heart as well as leaving you yearning for more then Saints Row is the answer.
Its not GTA but its alot more fun. It doesn't take itself to serious and the physics are hilarious and just the amount of things that the civilians say and do are sure to amaze you. I have yet to hear a single phrase be repeated and each time its been nothing but hilariousness.
Again though if you're kinda iffy rent it. But I think its worth the buy.
But the thing on it is that if you're a white person [[I don't know the politically correct term to use]] you guys get kinda screwed because the only white voice sounds like the guy from the Transporter which angered a lot of folks. But on a good note besides the random spanish phrases the mexican voice sounds white.
Notable features
-Full Character customization [[create yourself friends or family! pick your voice, walking style, taunts weight all sorts of zany stuff]]
-Countless things to do. [[sky dive, blow up jets, car surf, steal cars and things like that.]]
-Engaging storyline [[I haven't played the first one yet because its on 360 but the story and cinematics of this have been nothing but action filled, hilarious, and filled with all sorts amazing.]]
-Its what GTA IV should've been. So that pretty much sells it.
-Play the whole story mode in two player multiplayer.
-ZOMBIE AWAKENING!!! [[or whatever its called]]
And well just get the game and you'll see what I mean.
The great part about playing the story with a friend is not only are you not on a tether, but the game cranks the difficulty up just to make up for the fact that you have another living player. I mean I thought it was great that I was able to do one mission incredibly easy but to play it with a friend it was like something completely different. Almost like that horde feature in GOW2 thats got people going crazy.
Unless you're a person who doesn't like games portraying the "gangsta" lifestyle then look elsewhere but if you're in seriousness of a good laugh or something to do just to waste time Saints Row is as engaging as it is appealing.
But I mean I play the game as a 30's mobster [[because you're able to pick what you want your gang to look like.]]
-80's
-Pimps
-Sporty
-Preppy
-Gangster
-Ninja
and I think there's another one?
Either ways check it out and add me on my psn thingy. makasusan.

I'll gladly answer any questions that you have about the game if need be because I know probably reading this isn't going to make any sense... :]
