RTAB Error/Glitch help. *ahem* Will now pay for someone to help fix this problem

I was confused as to why this was happening for a while, until I decided to see if it'd work with the scripts I had removed. Sure enough, it only worked when RTAB was taken out. So, it seems as if RTAB gives me this glitch.
For some reason, whenever a batter is inflicted with the "Dazzle" state, their normal attacks don't miss any more than they usually do.(despite me changing the hit-rate to 05%). Further, their skills NEVER hit. This sounds like its supposed to happen, but I tested it so that Dazzle lowers hit rate to 99%, and it STILL never hits, ever. I don't think each skill continuously get's that 1% of missing.

To sum up...
Dazzle, which lowers the battlers hit rate, does the following:

it has no effect on the normal "attack" command, no matter how low i put the hit rate.

it always makes ALL skills miss, regardless of how much hit rate is lowered.


It's rather confusing, and I need it in order for the player to progress through the game. All of the other states seem to work... just not Dazzle.

Like I said, this seems to be a problem with RTAB, as once I take it out, it works fine.

It's too big to paste here. If you can figure out why it does it, I will be eternally grateful.


EDIT:: Alright... I've had this problem for a while now. It's definitely an RTAB problem. If somebody could figure out why this happens and fix it, I'll paypal money towards them. It's just holding me back so much, as the "blind" effect is needed for a skill in order to progress through the game. And I can't test the game if that skill doesn't work... meaning I can't see other parts of my game from then on... etc. So it's quite crippling, surprisingly :-\

So yeah, I'll gladly PAY someone to help me out with this... it's frustrating.
 
Uhm, I have an easier idea.

If you have specific maps where mobs will inflict blind, then put those mobs to a higher evasion if blind is true.

I'll give you an example in a sec, save the money for me ;D


Edit: Ok I got an easier idea.
I have a few ideas here:
1) Just set strength to 0%
2) I'm not sure if this is the problem or not, but you said you used 05%, which may be considered 50% by the system, trust me it can be messed up, so just try 5% alone.
3) Use a paralel process to check if the character is inflicted with blink, and then just boost the evade of the enemies for the duration of the formula. Here, this should work.

Mode: Parallel Process:
Option: Move Animation (default)
Sprite: None
Code:
@> Conditional Branch [Aluxes] is [Blink] inflicted
  @> Change Actor Class [Aluxes], [(*)Evade]
 : Else
  @> Change Actor Class [Aluxes], [Normal]
 : Branch End
@>

[(*)Evade], make a class where Dex, Int, and Agi are all 0-0

It's not the enemies which are inflicting the state, it's the heroes. And I don't want it so that even those who aren't blind can't hit the heroes because I set their evasion too high. Further, even if I did what you said, I don't want the heroes not to be able to hit enemies even if they're not blind.


I'd just like a fix to the script, is all...
 
just a suggestion, you may use another server like box.net or 4shared. some people have issues with megaupload.
man, a suggestion is a suggestion no matter what happened (if people could download it or not).

Also, Shadow, I'll keep it in mind if/when I upload other stuff onto here. I didn't know that megaupload gives people problems. Since Seph got the demo fine I don't think I need to in this case, but thanks for the heads up nonetheless.

Er... Another bump, just in case. Seph, I'm not rushing you or anything, but I'd just like to know any status (whether you found what the problem was, looking into it, don't see the problem, or whatever). Thanks a lot, once again. I really appreciate it, considering I can't script for my life
 
Due to my girlfriend of 4 years kind of dumping me over AIM last monday, I kind of lost initiative on this project.

... regardless, i'd like the solution to be here when I decide to go back to it. So here's another bump.

I'm still willing to pay for this to be fixed.
