RPGXP full of trojans?

Well, today my virusscanner detected a trojan, as it does more times. When I started to scann my computer for more, I saw that almost every rmxp file on my computer, had a trojan. The diagnostic shizzle of the files infected is: Trojan: W32/Polipos.A.dropper.
Does that mean, that if I can't remove them only, all my rmxp files have to be removed? Because, while scanning, my scanner found even more he didn't scann

First, where did you get RMXP?  If it wasn't download.com, Gamespot, or Tucows,  then shame on you!  :scruff:

And yes, you should remove / replace / quarantine ALL infected files. If it means re-installing RMXP, that's better
than losing more data, or having to reformat your hard-drive & reinstall everything.

If you didn't save your confirmation email from Protexis when purchasing the software, shame on you again!!!
you can email them to renew your activation code. They have a reputation for being very helpful.

Be Well

I know this may be nagging or answering the question again, but i'd just like to add to that... When downloading any program try their official site in order for it to be clean. Most companies will only link to clean downloads to ensure their reputation doesn't decrease.

Well, got it for a year now, from download.com. And shame myself, I didn't save the code /shame.
Im very curious about getting the serial back, till now after a few months they didn't answer my first mail 'bout Eclipse. You know that, that illegal, RTP-stealing wannabe MMORPG maker. And I just got the serial on a web page, not trough a mail.

Those 'shame on you's were tongue in cheek. :scruff:

I could have sworn I got a confirmation email. Hmmm, it's been a while. My mind could very well be slipping.
Either way, I saved the Order number, Serial number, and activation code(s) in a txt file, and made a redundant copy on another computer, and on my backup drive. I probably should have printed it too. Since paper is still the longest lasting & safest medium for volatile data storage.

However, I digress.

Once your PC is virus free, send Protexis an email, and I'm sure they will help.
