RPGMXP Installation/License Problem

Wow. Had no idea I had a profile on this site. Must of made one when I was drunk or something.  ;D

Anyway, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I just purchased the license and downloaded the game, but the problem is after I install the game and everything and start up the game:

1) It has the error message: "Failed to obtain a trial serial number from the nTitles server"

2) It won't let me enter the license number that I received upon my purchase

So, anyway, if it helps to understand my situation a little more, I tried the trial version a while ago on another computer which I no longer use. Also, I went from using dial up internet to high speed. Now, I'm really not much of a computer expert, but would the IP address be the same and would they believe that I am cheating them by downloading the file again.

I've tried everything I could think of, but I'm at a loss now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's not IP address related, I can tell you that much. On dial-up you wouldn't have had a constant IP anyway.

Are you on Vista?  If so set the compatability to Winxp.  Then it should let you.  If not on vista, i don't know what the problem is...

Yes, I do have a Vista, but when I downloaded the game, it was already set to WinXP. 

Edit: Now I feel like slapping myself on the head.

Apparently, I had to run the program as an administrator to get it to work properly. Now, I can type in the access code. I feel so much better now.
