RpgMakerMasters Non Scripters Guide To....

I have a question about this one.
Move Message Box, get out the way


1. Create a common Event
2. Give it a name (something like set)
3. Set the trigger to parr process
4. Create a switch called, Move message box (or something else)
5. Create a Variable, Call it hero?s Y
6. Set it = to Players Y
7. Create yet another common Event, Call it something like Location
8. Set the trigger to Parr. Proc.
9. Set the switch to the same one as above
10. Create a conditional branch, Heros Y =< 200 then Text Options Bottom show
11. Create another conditional branch, Hero?s Y =< 300 Text Options, Top Show

Now you will never have to worry about the message box ?Getting in your way ever again?
I tried doing it what I think is the correct way:

but it only works when i talk to someone on the bottom of the map. i does put the message up top but when i talk to someone at the top of the map, it is still displayed at the top. did i miss something?

Im sorry i made a mistake when writing it up

Code:
Heros Y <= 200
Text Options: Bottom, Show
[b]Heros Y >= 300[/b]
Text Options: Top, Show

(Battle systems are better off scripted, but if you explain it and really wanted events, i can do it)
 
It is not a battle system, it just like minigame! Well, I would like a semi-tactical war system....It means turn into warbase, then 4 option to select: Up, Down, Left, Right...Select up your player will move up, select down, your player will move down...After selecting one, you move in your direction, it is your enemies turn, your enemies will move towards you...When you touch each other, it will battle with the enemies...

**My battle means go into your default battle system...

i really wanna know how can i make a script be disabled or enabled in the game?
how can i make a new choise at the main like "about or something." thanks!

I know a good ABS without scripts and im gonna tell you how to do it
First make a event with the enemy graphic you want. ensure that there is a tall/wide unacsesable area. line a diamon do events around the monster. im gonna call it monster. first copy monster after youve set it's move route and speed rename the event something like monster kill.
now on monster kill put theese commands
@> show animation [monster], [sword]
@> wait: 8 frame(s)
@> set event location[monster], (?????)
At the ?marks put the end of the unreacheable area. Create a triangle of monster kills around monster. Now go ton monster and set it to event touch.
make this command on monster
@>game over
that should work.
 
Uh..I dont think that would work Zalo. And if you need help with the blitzball Rpg, I could help. I'm still working on the Day/night normal time
 
I'm so gunna use this tutorial xD... also, I was thinking of using variables and switches and junk to make an unsctripted tactical battle system! I thought of it cause I'm no scripter, and I wanted to make a FFT like game... obviously, this will not work out in the end, but it could be used for special battles. but most likely like one on one, or one vs more... seriously, this idea will not most likly work out, cause there is no way to make an AI without scripting it (if there was, I could make this idea into a full blown game ^^ and I would get praise for such a great non scripted Idea xD)... but if you could find a way to figure out a way to make enemies attack other than the hero, then let me know, so I can use it!
