Wow. I love both parts to this song. The slow begining part sets the mood of memories, looking back on sad events past. The louder section, more lively really inspires hope. Even if not used as a title piece, could be great for a slow scene where a dramatic event swings the battle in the favor of the hero.

Bravo... Bravo.

Oh and btw, I dont usually bother listening to music on the forum because I can't learn anything from it. But your name sticks out for some reason. I remember it being mentioned somewhere so I clicked. I'm so glad that I did.

@Alicix  Thank you for your input. It's nice to know that a listener can see more or different than what the composer portray it to be. I hope to bring songs like that in the future.

Sound very nice! Im not a big fan of the string sound, but it was overall good. The woodwind (I think clarinet) part seems a bit random, but besides that, good. The lead-in from piano/flute is executed very nicely.

Good stuff, overall. Ill be looking forward to more of your stuff.

honestly i think it's the usual thing in this kind of people. theyre good for classical music, orchestral sounds and pianos, but when they put in percussion it always sounds quite crappy.

the melody is quite random. should seem more clear to the listener and stuff.

I cherish everyone's opinion, though an 8.8 seems pretty positive. :O 
I know what you mean though; mixing orchestral instruments and contemporary percussion is a
tough cookie to crunch. I do both separately (orchestral and contemporary styles), but I can't stay on one for too long.

Good stuff! The piano part's my favourite. Quite catchy, and the crescendo to when the drums and the other sets came in was very well done.  :smile:
As for criticisms; I think it took too long to start heading out, if you know what I mean. It's a pretty catchy tune, but the first half of the song contains only that - I found myself waiting anxiously for it to start to get going somewhere at times.
