[RPG] RTP Reworked [Updated 11/17/08!] [Links Fixed!]

I recently bought the program Reason, which is an upper-middle range composing program that can ber used to convert midi files into other formats. As such I decided to start converting the RMXP RTP into various audio formats, with the appearance of being at least partially orchestrated. I will link to the Sendspace folders holding the files, and link directly to an examples of what I am doing. As of now, I am providing the music in three formats: .ogg files, .mp3 files, and as uncompressed .wav files. Choose whichever you like, they are all the same thing, with slightly varying quality. (Unless you choose the .wav files. Those are full quality) Anyway, here's the list of what I've converted already, and what is yet to come:

If you're wondering what the updated! tags mean, they just denote any tracks that I have reuploaded in the most recent update. (Usually due to me making a newer version with better instruments) Here's an example:

WOW!!! How did you know? That's my favourite RTP song! =D

Edit: Umm I'm not sure what .ogg is but could you put it in mp3 format?

Just import it into RMXP to play it. The default BGS and SE files are all .ogg files, and if you can play those, you'll be able to play this.

It think you can just play them in media player or winamp too without having to install anything.

Anyways, this is much better than the original. This has more energy and tempo.

Thanks! Also, playing it really depends. In most default installations of windows, you have to download a codec for it to play it in wmp.

Wow, great work! I looked at first, and like you I liked Version 2 better. Keep it up, am i allowed to use these with my game? Obviously I'd credit you.

These are free for use, and I have another to upload and post. Gimme a minute.

O: This is good.
But I think you should add reverb.

Why add reverb? Enterbrain knew exactly what they were doing when they created the midi files for the RMXP RTP. When they wanted reverb, they added mutiple tracks with the same instrument, at different volumes. For example, look at the Boss03 midi when you get a chance, it is 3 Church organs. Completely unlikely, considering how big those things are, and how many most churches have. (Most churches, even the largest, uaually only have 1 organ) I have left these rever tracks  in wherever they appear. Honestly, the program I'm using could add reverb, but it would make it sound much worse. Trust me on that one. (I actually tried it, and it failed miserably)

Also, I'll be updating this again in the next couple of day. It's gonna be a good one, because I'll be finishing off the battle music.

Oh, I see...
I think I misjudged your music.
I found your music will not match with reverb.

But I still have one think :
How about changing instrument sounds? I mean, VSTI ...SoundFont(SF2)
It's not bad, but I know some VSTI/SF that sounds better.

Which instruments? I'm using a program called Reason, which does not use soundfonts, but instead creates the instruments from a set of sounds and a lot of heavy editing.
